Premier Black wins first scrimmage!

Saturday, 26 August 2006, Chantilly, VA: VYS's Premier Black (PB) Travel Soccer Team cruised past the Chantilly Youth Soccer All-Star team at our first scrimmage game. With a solid showing from eight of our boys, the PB team scored with consistent passing, and defended with vigor. The 8-2 win was a solid first effort! Game 1 vs. SYA

Premier Black holds SYA Wolfpack to Scoreless Tie

September 10 - CLIFTON, VA - In a thrilling first game, the VYS Premier Black team tied SYA Clifton Wolfpack 0 - 0. The boys played hard, our defense was solid, and the goal-tending was great. The offense worked hard as well, but SYA's defense and goal-tending efforts were up to the challenge.

Game 2 vs. FCSC

Premier Black wins close battle!

September 17 - WOLF TRAILS PARK: In a closely fought contest, VYS Premier Black won its second game 1 - 0. PB played a balanced offense, and continued its strong defense. Our team never gave up, and really showed its strength in the second half. Way to go!!

Game 3 vs. Loudoun

Premier Black falls in last seconds

September 24 - Wolf Trails Park: We had a valliant effort from everyone, and played a very strong game. In the end, a Loudoun ball threaded its way in and lead to a close loss.

Game 4 vs. SYA

Premier Black ties SYA again!

October 1 - Vienna, VA: In another thrilling performance, the Vienna Premier Black team tied SYA of Clifton for the second time this season. PB jumped out to the lead with high-speed, precision passing, and strong shots on goal. In the end, SYA connected on a last-second header to secure the tie.

Game 5 vs. Reston

Premier Black plays strong

In a complete game, Premier Black's defence flexed it's muscle, and contained the Reston onslaught. On offence, the boys showed determination in a balanced attack. In the end, Premier Black prevailed with a 2 - 0 victory!

Game 6 vs. CYA Cobras

Premier Black erupts in powerful showing

In a balanced and relentless attack, Premier Black prevailed with its most productive game of the season. The scoring came from all sides and multiple players got into the action. We all loved playing on the best field we've seen this season...

Game 7 vs. EPIC

A tough late loss drops VYS

In a balanced struggle, VYS held on for most of the game. We had a strong start with a powerful score and came very close on two great opportunities in the first half. In the end, EPIC showed poise and power in late goals that capped the win.

Game 8 vs. Arlington Strikers

In this, our final game, VYS Premier Black fought off the cold for another powerful display of defense and offense. We matched our season high goal output, and piled up our 5th shutout of the season. We proudly ended this first season in 3rd place out of 8 teams!
