The Vienna Quest White travel soccer team (U12G), a group of 11 and 12 year old girls, was a finalist in the 32nd WAGS Vodicka Memorial Tournament this past weekend, October 6th, 7th and 8th. This tournament held in northern VA and Montgomery County attracts many nationally ranked teams. Quest White took advantage of the great soccer weather by playing good soccer and winning 4 games before a 2-0 loss in the championship game against a very tough and quick Damascus Sparks team from Maryland. Quest White won their first game against the WYSA Wilson Explosion from North Carolina 2-0 then beat Loudoun Soccer ’95 Black 1-0. Quest White won their third game against the MSC Xcel, from Maryland with a 3-1 win. In the semi-final game against the very good and athletic Severna Park Kickers team from Maryland, Quest White win in overtime 2-1. The team consists of: Nina Asfar, Aryn Burrage, Jazmine Carter, Alexandra Condon, Alexandria Dabich, Rebecca Gorney, Rachel Moore, Kelli Osgood, Mary Piescik, Mary Ellen Potter, Ellie Sears, and Idil Yonis. The team is professionally coached by Clifford Carroll and Stephanie Hulke.
