The Vienna Youth Soccer Falcons are seeking additional players for the fall 2009 season. The Falcons play in the U18/U19 Girls Division of ODSL and are focused on helping players develop their technical soccer skills and tactical knowledge of the game in a friendly, healthy environment.

Professional coaching is provided by Tony Medina, who has extensive experience in coaching at the high school level. Hussam Bader, who played for George Mason’s Men’s Soccer team (1999-2002) and who has coached extensively at the high school and college level, is the team’s professional trainer. The Falcons are particularly interested in adding experienced defenders to the team. In addition, the team seeks rising 9th or 10th graders who want to enhance their abilities to play effectively at the high school level. The team currently has players who attend high school at all four grade levels.

Tryouts will be held as a part of the team’s spring training sessions that will be held on June 1, 3, 8 and 10, 5:00-6:30 PM at the Marshall High School practice field. Interested players should contact the team manager, Terry Lash, at terrylash@verizon.net or 703-244-7786 to attend a tryout.
