For the second season in a row, Thunder White has won the prestigious Randy Rawls Sportsmanship award.
The ODSL Randy Rawls award is dedicated to the idea that soccer should be played with good sportsmanship and a sense of fair play. The award is voted on directly by the coaches for a team that best exemplifies these qualities in their division. The emphasis of the award is to encourage children to develop good character both on and off the field.
The Rawls award represents the best in soccer.
It is about playing the game with a personal best effort, as well as being fair and having fun. Players should enjoy the game and be gracious whether winning or losing. It is an honor for Thunder White to be selected again and to be recognized for having these good qualities.
Congratulations to the Thunder White team.
