VYS SPRING REGISTRATION KICK-OFF EVENT - Feb 6

Tysons Microsoft Store Please join VYS and the Tysons Corner Microsoft Store on Monday, February 6, from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. at the new Microsoft Store at Tysons Corner Mall.
You can register for the VYS spring season, test your Microsoft game skills (and challenge your friends!), get your picture taken with the DC United mascot, and enjoy many other specials and surprises from VYS and our participating sponsors, including TD Bank, PJ’s Sports, and Sports Authority. Our host, the Tysons Corner Microsoft Store, will be giving away a game to a lucky winner! This event is open to all new and returning players. VYS players attending should wear their VYS jerseys. We look forward to seeing players, parents, families, and friends at this fun filled event on February 6!

VYS Training Programs Meeting for U6-U8 Parents

The VYS Technical Director, Eddie Lima, invites the VYS families of our U6, U7, and U8 players to a meeting on February 8th at 7:30 PM to discuss the past, present and future training/programs for these age groups within VYS. It will be a great opportunity to share ideas for current programs and future player development, especially for those players with a desire to play at the travel level in VYS.

The meeting will be on February 8th at 7:30 pm (Kilmer Middle School) in the Lecture Hall.

VYS Offers Coaches Training

VYS is actively pursuing to bring the best of soccer education to Vienna and is now offering FOOT SKILLS training to all VYS house coaches and assistant coaches. All coaches are strongly encouraged to participate in this program. We are very confident your teams will benefit enormously from your experience in this workshop.

WINTER 2012 ACADEMY TRAINING REGISTRATION

(For House Recreation Players Only)

Vienna Youth Soccer is excited to offer Winter Foot Skills & Futsal Program for the House Players. Our program has been designed to focus specifically on enhancing fundamental player’s skill and confidence in decision-making under pressure. The game itself forces ball mastery of the soccer technique (dribbling, passing, receiving, 1 vs. 1 and shooting) in tight space, quick decision-making with and without the ball. Futsal is the future of indoor soccer in the United States for player development and VYS would like to invite you to join us for a fun Futsal experience this 2012 Winter season. When: Sundays 3:30-5:00 pm
Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 pm
Beginning immediately!

Please wear cleats and shin guards under socks
Bring/wear red and white t-shirts
