U4 Cubs

Welcome to the beginning of our exciting journey together. Vienna Youth Soccer will be providing young aspiring children the perfect platform to learn about the most popular sport in the world -- soccer!

Led by our professional staff, the Cubs Training Program introduces the fundamentals of soccer to our youngest players. “U4” means Under 4 years of age. The eight week curriculum has been developed to explore basic techniques, inspire a love for the game, be highly interactive and fun!

U5 House

This program continues to introduce the fundamentals of soccer to our young players. The focus is on skills development through fun games. There are no scrimmages at this level. Teams are formed by gender, and sessions are led by one or more coaches, often parents.

House League

The House program has been the foundation of VYS activities for over 30 years. With nearly 2,500 participants each season, it is the most popular sports activity within the Vienna community.

Also known as the VYS Recreation Program, all games are played internally against other VYS teams in the same age group. Teams are by gender and are formed by age group Commissioners who seek to create teams of equal strength using schools and neighborhoods as guidelines. U6-U11 have one practice and one game a week, U12+ have two practices and one game a week.

Development Center U7 - U10 (born between 2009 – 2011)

Requirement: must be registered for the current House season.

The Development Center model puts players’ development first with the focus and attention on the finer details. The Center values individual development, teaching the game and player performance more than winning. Each session will test and push the players technically, socially, physically, and cognitively. It is open to both boys and girls who are registered in the VYS House program and recommended for players interested in transitioning to the Travel program.
