How do I register my player?
Click here to register for the spring or fall soccer season.
How does the VYS House program organize its age groups?
While VYS is required to organize its Travel teams by birth year, VYS organizes its House teams by school year, recognizing that most House players want to play with their classmates.
What age group should I register my player for?
Check out the Age Group Guidelines page to determine your player's age group.
Is there an option to "play up" into the next age group?
Yes, a player may elect to "play up" by one year. If a player wishes to play up, please please send an email to the VYS registrar at email@example.com.
When can I register?
All players who register on time for the fall and/or spring season are guaranteed placement on a team in their appropriate age group. Late registrations (new and returning players) will be placed on a waiting list and placed on teams where space is available or pending the identification of new coaches and the formation of new teams.
When does the season start?
In general, the fall season starts in September and ends mid-November. The spring season starts late March and ends mid-June.
Who do I contact about my player's registration?
Contact the VYS Registar for registration issues.
How much does it cost?
Check out our House and Training Program Fees page for information on program costs.
How do I obtain a refund?
A refund for registration fees may be obtained by emailing the VYS Registrar at Registrar@vys.org. A $30 processing fee will be subtracted from all refunds requested. No refunds will be given after the first Recreation game, unless there is an injury in the beginning of the season, and the child cannot play soccer. If an injury occurs, and VYS is contacted during the same season that the injury occurs, the refund will be based on how many weeks the child has played soccer. Please do not contact your Coach or House Commissioner for a refund.
Does VYS offer financial aid?
Yes, please checkout our financial aid page for more information.
