U15 Girls Spring 2008 WAGSL U15 Division 5 CHAMPIONS

The VYS Comets is a WAGS team for the 2007-2008 season competing in U15G Division 5.

2008-2009 VYS Comets Tryout Information (UPDATED 23-Jun 1000pm)
Interested players must be born on or after August 1, 1992.
The rising U16G Comets Team will hold mandatory tryouts on the following date:
- Tuesday, June 24th from 6:30-8:00PM at Madison High School
Note: Original tryout scheduled for Monday, June 23rd from 6:00-7:30PM at Capital One Field was postponed due to weather

Comets Finish Spring 2007 Season on Strong Note
Placing Second in Virginian Memorial Day Tournament U14G Silver West Division
The VYS Comets Team placed second in the U14 Girl’s Championship at the Virginian Memorial Day Tournament 2007. After tieing SYA Force 1-1 in their first game while playing most of the game one player down, the Comets won their next 3 games by scores of 3-0, 3-2, and 2-1. Finally in the championship game against a very strong FC Frederick Royal team, the Comets lost in overtime by a 2 - 1 tally.
The Comets players include: Gina Borzoo, Colleen Barry, Shannon Barry, Jessica Cooke, Mary Frances Farrell, Dani Forbes, Charlie Jackson, Marisa Mahony, Paige Ravesteijn, Leila Shebaro, Nadia Shebaro, Julia Tanes, Jessica White (a.k.a. Jaws), Siena Malone, and Liz Zolper. The Comets are proudly coached by Chris Cooke and Emil Ravesteijn, and trained by Eddie Lima.
