Freedom  will be a U13 girls travel team for the fall 2008 season.   The team has been together since the fall of 2006, playing the Old Dominion Soccer League (ODSL).  The team is coached by Martin O’Meara and Jennifer Wiley who are both parents of players on the team.  Martin has coached youth soccer for 15 years.  Jennifer has coached youth soccer for several years and played college soccer for William and Mary.  For the last three seasons, the team has used a professional trainer for one practice a week.  Freedom attempts to play in three tournaments each season, usually over Memorial Day and Columbus Day weekends and in mid-November.  For information about the team contact Martin O’Meara, martin832@gmail.com.

Freedom will hold tryouts for the fall 2008 and spring 2009 seasons in June.  The team will be looking to add about four players to the roster as it moves up from 8v8 play to 11v11 in the fall.  All players must have birthdates after 8/1/1995.  Please contact Coach O’Meara if you would like to attend tryouts.
