The Vienna United rising U11 Boys travel club will hold tryouts on Monday, 09 June and Wednesday, 11 June 2008  from 6:00-8:00 pm. Tryouts will be held at the Vienna Adventist  Academy school field (344 Courthouse Road, SW) .  

The club has three teams competing in the National Capital Soccer League and the Old Dominion Soccer League, however, all teams practice and train together as a single club. The club expects to expand from 29 members to as many as 39 members for the upcoming season. We are looking for boys who are energetic, positive, and interested in playing soccer at a "higher level" to come join our club. Boys interested in participating should come to tryouts wearing cleats, socks and shinguards, and should bring plenty of drinking water.  

Contact information including phone numbers and emails will be collected from each player participating so they can be notified of the results of the tryout. Announcement of the selections to the club will occur by the later part of June, with a goal of providing notification by 16-17 June so parents can be informed prior to going on summer vacation.  Notification by this time will help ensure the club gets accurate and current contact information for new club members so that information can be distributed about our summer practice sessions, pre-season camp (week of 21 July), and the preseason tournaments the club will be participating in prior to the start of the fall season on 06 September .
