Tryouts for Phoenix United

Rising U14G Phoenix United:

Monday, 6/9: 6:00-7:30 at Capital One small field

Tuesday, 6/10: 4:30-6:00 Colvin Run (rescheduled from 6/4)

Wed. 6/11: 4:30-6:00 at Capital One large field (joint tryout with the Pride)

Please bring a 1" x 1" photo of the player to the tryouts.

Current Positions: SOCA Coach, Technical Director of Culpeper Soccer Association,

Previous Positions: President of Culpeper Soccer Association, President of ODSL

Awards: 1970 All-South/All-American team, 1997 Frostburg University Hall of Fame

Carl is assisted by a team of experienced and skilled assistant coaches: Sandy McDonnell (703-938-7113), Kevin Gollogly, and Sarah Libeau. The team also provides specialized keeper training on Mondays.

Team practices are held on Mondays and Wednesdays. Games are played on Sundays and occasionally on Saturdays. The team plays all its games in the Washington Metro Area and travels to tournaments.

After 4 competitive games in sweltering heat - Phoenix United secured 2nd place in the 2007 Dulles Tournament Premiere Division. Congratulations!!

Phoenix United Compete at Busch Gardens in 2006

Phoenix United and Phoenix Pride players joined together to compete in the 2006 Busch Gardens soccer tournament in Willamsburg. The girls played up one year in the U-13 age group which provided them the opportuntiy to play 11 v. 11 and to test their skills and team work. The team played 3 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday. Team parents enjoyed watching excellent soccer.
