NSCAA recognizes VYS Development Director Jane Dawber and the Crossover program at the 2015 NSCAA National Convention.
VYS' ever popular Crossover program, a training program specifically designed for the U7-U10 recreation player to help develop the "game within your child", recently earned the NSCAA Best Practices Award at the 2015 NSCAA Convention held last week in Philadelphia, PA. The NSCAA Awards are presented annually to recognize excellence in soccer, academics, and service to the game.
The Crossover Academy, initiated and run by VYS Development Director Jane Dawber, focuses on individual development and serves as an introduction to the level of play of travel leagues. The program also enables coaches and trainers to identify those players who are ready for the next level and assist with the transition.
"It was a great honor today to receive the NSCAA Top Ten Best club practice award at the NSCAA Convention in Philly. The VYS Cross Over program was acknowledged as the best "transition from rec to competitive soccer program" in the USA for 2014. I want to thank the staff, club, parents and players for all of their support and making this program such a success!" - Jane Dawber
