About the Club
Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit based in Vienna, VA inside of Fairfax County. Since 1975, VYS has been fostering a deep sense of community through soccer programming. Vienna Youth Soccer is proud to offer recreational, developmental, and travel soccer, as well as a number of camps, clinics, and other outreach programs throughout the year. Over 3,000 children are impacted each year by the club.
As one of the largest youth soccer clubs in Fairfax and Northern Virginia, VYS strives to positively impact the community by engaging players, parents, coaches, and volunteers on and off the field. What makes Vienna Youth Soccer truly special is the first word in the Club’s name – Vienna – a town that all members are proud to identify as home.
Our club uses PlayMetrics as our All-in-One Club Operating System for Registration, Payment, Communication, and Schedules. All new users must create an account through PlayMetrics in order to register for any of our programs.

League Based Programs
House League
The VYS U5-U19 House League is our volunteer-based recreational program that emphasizes FUN, FRIENDSHIP, TEAMWORK, and SPORTSMANSHIP in a no-pressure environment. The House League is an 8-week program with teams practicing one time a week and playing games on Saturdays. Players receive uniforms from VYS and learn what it's like to play soccer in a team-based environment.
Frosty Fields League
The VYS Winter House League provides FUN & SOCIAL soccer games for all levels of players while helping them stay sharp on the ball during the Winter season! U9-U19 players will have the opportunity to play team-based soccer with OUTDOOR games. Worried about the cold? VYS provides game day bibs that fit over jackets, sweatshirts, and all other winter apparel.
Summer Futsal League
The VYS Summer Futsal league is open to all level players from U8-U12. The League offers development, fast-paced play, and fun for kids who are new to futsal or those who have played before! The goal of the program is to maximize player enjoyment in a small-sided, competitive, and fun environment with experienced trainers. The Recreational Futsal games will utilize futsal goals and futsal balls and will be played on multi-sport hard court surfaces and/or turf fields.
Programs
Development Center
The VYS Development Center Program is for interested U7 & U8 players registered for the VYS House League! VYS aims to invest in our ambitious young players to help them fall in love with the game of soccer. This program is a great way to participate in challenging and rewarding sessions, all while receiving meaningful evaluation and feedback from our professional coaching staff.
U4 Cubs
Vienna Youth Soccer is proud to provide young, aspiring children the perfect platform to learn about the most popular sport in the world -- soccer! Led by our professional staff, U4 Cubs introduces the fundamentals of soccer to our youngest players. The eight-week curriculum has been developed to explore basic techniques and inspire a love for the game. Cubs is highly interactive and fun!
Frosty Fields (U6-U8)
VYS also gives the U6-U8 players an opportunity to join in the Frosty Fields experience. Rather than the traditional season structure, our professional coaches run a 30-minute training session before players break into teams and play games for the remainder of the time. This is the perfect way to keep playing during the cold season, develop those skills, and have fun playing with your friends!
Summer Futsal Skill Training
The VYS Summer Futsal Skill Training focuses on nurturing every player’s individual skills, game intelligence and confidence. Our academy staff designs each session to maximize touches on the ball and decision-making opportunities in tight spaces going to goals. Adding Futsal to a player’s training schedule also improves 1v1 skills & creativity, balance, agility, coordination, and overall comfort level and mastery with the ball.
Top Soccer
VYS, in affiliation with US Youth Soccer under TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer), offers the opportunity to join in the soccer fun to players with disabilities, ages 4 to 19 years old. The program is designed to involve children with varying disabilities in the enriching game of soccer. Each child is paired with one or two volunteer buddies and coaches. Every Saturday afternoon during the fall and spring seasons coaches will offer fun soccer drills tailored to each player’s ability.
Adult League (COED 30+)
The VYS Adult League offers parents, former players, and those with no formal soccer experience the opportunity to build a community of friends while having fun and staying active. Open during the Spring, Summer, and Fall we offer an exceptional recreational experience for individuals over 30 with different levels of soccer experience.
Camps
Summer Camps
At the VYS Summer Camps, players get the chance to work on improving their footwork and becoming more confident with the ball during the off season. Campers work with our professional coaches and take part in group activities, skill games, and small sided scrimmages, while having a blast! Each day will feature giveaways for all players with extra opportunity for competition and prizes on Fridays.
Spring Break Camps
VYS Spring Break Camp is an opportunity for novice and advanced players to develop their technical ability and understanding of the game during Spring Break. The program will enable players to practice drills and develop skills in a stress-free and fun-filled environment. The VYS Spring Break Camp, similar to our Summer Camps, is designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.
Fall School's Out Camp
Looking for a safe play for your children to have fun on non-instructional schools days in the year. School is Out VYS Camp is the perfect solution to keep players from U5-U14 busy and active while having a blast during their days off school.
Volunteer
Volunteers make up the backbone of our club. Our coaches are parents, former players, family members, and friends of the community looking to provide young players with a fun and active experience in the game of soccer. Travel Academy
The VYS Travel Program challenges our players to develop as players and leaders while competing at a high level. VYS Travel players should expect experiential learning and a holistic approach led by our professional coaching staff. Our Phoenix and Eagles teams play in the ECNL Regional League (ECNL RL) and Virginia Premier Soccer League (VPSL).
Both leagues provide a pathway to competition at the state, regional and national levels. Our Academy (non-Eagle and Phoenix) teams play in the National Capital Soccer League (NCSL). Teams will play games against clubs primarily from Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. Each season (fall and spring) teams will play 8-9 games.
Fairfax BRAVE
Fairfax BRAVE is a partnership between Braddock Road Youth Club (BRYC) and Vienna Youth Soccer (VYS) whose goal is to build teams that will compete in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) starting in the 2022-2023 season.
The acronym "BRAVE" stands for Braddock Road And Vienna ECNL.
