About Volunteer Coaching

Our coaches are parents, players, former players, family members, and friends of the community looking to provide a fun and active experience through the game of soccer. Our goal at VYS House is to create a fun, nurturing environment for our players to develop their love of the game and create lasting friendships through a Lifetime of Soccer.

Becoming involved in the VYS House Program is a great way to go the extra mile in the community, and assist our aspiring soccer players. We are always seeking the help of enthusiastic community leaders. Volunteers are the backbone of our House League, and we are grateful for the time, dedication, and personalization they do each season for our kids.

Background Check

In conjunction with VYSA, the club runs background checks on every VYS volunteer over the age of 18. Invitations to background checks are provided through Trusted  Employee and are valid for 2 years and are subject to additional screening.

SAFE SPORT

All Team Officials rostered on travel and recreational teams will be required to complete the SafeSport training. The SafeSport training will be valid for 1 year, with a refresher course required each year after.

All 4 of my children started in the VYS house league and continue to play today. VYS house helped them build a foundation for their skills and ignited their passion for soccer. The community of coaches and staff are vested in helping kids to succeed in whatever level of play they are ready for. I couldn't be happier about our experience with VYS.
