U5 House
About the Program
The VYS U5 CO-ED House Age-Group is our volunteer-based recreational program which introduces a fun no-pressure playing environment to Pre-K aged players.
For the 8-week season, U5 CO-ED players will participate in one practice each Saturday.
Please note that all U5 practices will be held at Freedom Hill Elementary and times are between 8 am to 1 pm.
By working together with our community to provide a soccer experience that emphasizes fun, friendship, teamwork, and sportsmanship under the pillars of Positive Coaching, we believe that this VYS U5 House will be an incredible experience for all. We look forward to embarking on this journey together!
"It was apparent that many of the kids viewed their soccer session as the highlight of the week. We worked on building basic skills by having fun and playing games; without running repetitive and tiring drills. The kids learned basic soccer skills by simply playing and having fun. The goal in this age group is to have fun, learn, build friendship, and to foster a love of the game. VYS sets the tone for this league to be fun. It certainly is."
