About Leadership Academy
The Vienna Youth Soccer Leadership Academy is a selective leadership development program designed to prepare the next generation of coaches, referees, mentors, and community leaders.
Built for motivated high school students entering their sophomore or junior year, the Academy combines leadership education, coaching and referee certifications, mentorship, and meaningful hands-on experience throughout the club.
Participants graduate with nationally recognized credentials, real-world leadership experience, and the skills to make a lasting impact both on and off the field.

There is no cost to participate in the Vienna Youth Soccer Leadership Academy.
The program is fully funded by Vienna Youth Soccer as part of our commitment to developing the next generation of leaders within our club and community.
A Lifetime of Leadership
More than just a soccer program, the Leadership Academy is an investment in future leaders.
Through a two year-long curriculum led by Vienna Youth Soccer staff and industry professionals, Leadership Academy members develop by: coaching with character, pursuing excellence, leading through service, and inspiring the next generation, while giving back to younger players and the club community.
Admission is intentionally limited to a small cohort each year, creating a highly personalized experience that challenges participants to grow, lead with confidence, and help shape the future of Vienna Youth Soccer.

Leadership Curriculum
Vienna Youth Soccer's Leadership Academy curriculum spans far beyond the field. Students will earn verified volunteer service hours that may be applied toward high school.
Participants build a well-rounded foundation through nationally recognized licensing, hands-on certifications, and real-world skill-building across the following subject areas:
